Tigers Launch Chairman’s Group
Chairman of the Queanbeyan Tigers Bob Gibbs has launched a new membership category of the Tigers Club aimed at the Corporate Sector while also encouraging long term supporters to also join the group.
The Chairman’s Group provides members with a number of advantages which includes membership of the Growlers Club, provision for attendance at major functions and AFL games at Manuka Oval, website acknowledgement and networking with other members of the group at designated functions throughout the year.
Bob Gibbs has welcomed on board the first two members of the Chairman’s Group in Maria Slater Travel and One3 Global.
Maria Slater Travel located in the Mawson Shopping Complex has a fantastic name in the Canberra Travel Industry and enjoys strong support from the local community. There is an obvious connection with the Travel Agency with senior grade player Paul Slater being the son of Brian and Maria Slater – principals of the business.
One3 Global has also joined the Chairman’s Group with one of its principals being well known within the Canberra Sporting fraternity. Captain of the Canberra Capitals Kellie Abrams in conjunction with her brother have launched a range of clothing merchandise of which the Tigers have taken advantage of. The Tigers and One3Global will provide supporters ample opportunities throughout the season to purchase the new merchandise at home games.
