2019 Round 10 Details & Preview

March 27, 2019 by

The men’s teams will be looking to bounce back this weekend following a tough weekend vs Belconnen.

With the Annual Muir Medal to be played in the Men’s 1st Grade plus Heritage Round this is building as a real cracker of a game. The Super Two’s men will also be hoping to break a two game losing streak, injuries and unavailability has hurt the side in recent weeks however Alba will still be looking for an improvement.

Our Rising Stars will again be crippled with the rep program taking players away from this weeks clash with ladder leaders Ainslie. The young cubs are doing the club proud this year as they continue to put themselves on the line while gaining much needed experience. Under aged and under sized these young men have great potential and are the future of the club.

The women’s teams continue to set the bench mark in their respective grades with the Seniors unbeaten anf the Reserves only having two losses to the ladder leaders Riverina. In the seniors, the tigers have another challenge coming from Ainslie and a win should secure the Minor Premiership with 5 rounds to go. Our reserves play tomorrow night against Hawks at Allinsure Park, a win should seal a top two finish and with lot’s of injuries and unavailability this group is going great guns!

Finally we congratulate Jed Simpson who will play his 50th Club Game.
