Do these two characters remind you of anyone!

Jack Armstrong & Jordan Gilbert

They just happen to be our next generation of youngsters coming through the ranks – but if they have the talent of their respective dads, they will also be Champions for the Club.

Jack Armstrong and Jordan Gilbert have commenced with the Tigers in the Auskick Pro Competition and are obviously enjoying their time as best mates at the moment.

Jack is the son of current Senior Playing Coach and 300 game Tiger Champion Mark Armstrong. He has a very cheeky smile, one that he will use often when he starts talking future contracts with Chook (just like his dad did for many years).

Jordan Gilbert is the son of former Tiger Champion and Hard Nut Jason Gilbert. Chook has already signed him to play senior footy with the Tigers along with his younger brother Bailee. They both signed on the dotted line on a coaster when visiting the Tigers licensed Club with parents Jason and Sylvania one evening.

Asked what numbers they would like to play in when they reach senior grade level the surprise answer was Number 8 for Jordo with Bailee deciding on his Dads Number 7.

With the Tigers GM having a long history with both families and having seen how good their dads were in Tigers colours he is pleased to see the budding young champions playing at such a young age.

There is no doubt that when Chook adds Jack’s signature to that same coaster he will put it away in a safe place knowing full well the scouts would be out and about to snap up such a pedigree of players!
