Auskick Gala Day @ Queanbeyan!

On Monday the 22nd March the Queanbeyan Tigers hosted over 400 school children for the Annual QBN Auskick Gala Day. In fairly warm conditions the boys and girls played a series of games as a lot of children experienced Aussie Rules for the first time.

The day was coordinated by Cameron James and the team from NSW/ACT AFL and they umpired the games as well as doing on field coaching. This was by far one of the most successful Gala Days in recent times and the Tigers would like to thank QBN Public, QBN West and Jerrabomberra Public Schools for attending.
Queanbeyan Schools Auskick Gala Day
The NSW/ACT AFL have confirmed the Queanbeyan Schools Zone Gala Day for Monday 22nd March 2010 @ Dairy Farmers Park.
Schools from right across the Queanbeyan region are invited to attend the Gala Day that promotes AFL at grass roots level. Children will play a series of games throughout the day and receive coaching on kicking, hand-balling and marking skills.
