Free ActewAGL Winter Energy Saving Workshops

To help customers prepare their home for winter and save on winter energy bills, proud sponsor of the Queanbeyan Tigers, ActewAGL is hosting six free Energy Saving Workshops during April and May including two Bunnings workshops at Tuggeranong and Belconnen.

Independent Energy saving expert Matthew Ruffin, of Progressive Sustainability will talk about effective and efficient ways to prepare your home for winter and heat your home once the chill sets in. He will also provide some innovative do-it-yourself tips to help you save money.

Those attending the workshops will also receive a fantastic gift bag full of energy saving information and products. At each workshop we will also be offering the chance to win a home energy audit to the value of $250 – where expert home energy auditor, Matthew Ruffin, will do a room-by-room examination of the home to assess energy use and how to make changes to save on energy bills.

ActewAGL will be hosting the workshops at the following times and locations.

Bunnings Tuggeranong, Thursday 30 April 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Gungahlin Library, Cnr of Hibberson and Gozzard Streets, Tuesday 5 May 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Queanbeyan Kangaroos Club, Richard Ave, Queanbeyan, Wednesday 6 May 5.30pm to 7.00pm

ActewAGL House, 40 Bunda Street Civic, Monday 11 May 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Woden Southern Cross Club, 92-96 Corinna Street, Phillip, Tuesday 12 May 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Bunnings Belconnen, Thursday 14 May 5.30pm to 7.00pm
