The "LORD" Returns

It will be a big day tomorrow for one of our club favourites who will finally return from long term injury, especially seeing it has been 982 days since his last game!

Dean Lord last graced the field in a tigers jumper way back in the 2018 Reserve Grade Grand Final (9/9/2018). Since that day, Dean was diagnosed with the debilitating condition of Osteo Pubis in the November Preseason.

Fast forward 982 days and Dean is Back!

The 2018 Armstrong / Niesen Medalist 1st Grade Leading Goal Kicker and 2018 Noel Miller Reserve Grade Best & Fairest has shown tremendous patience, resilience and strength to get himself back on the track.

Despite multiple setbacks during his rehab, Dean has never wavered in his desire to get back playing with his beloved tigers. His example of dedication and want, will be the bench mark for all of our players to live by knowing hard works does pay off!

Congratulations Lordy, you are an inspiration to our new generation of players and make sure you enjoy the bumps, bruises and kicking the Sherrin tomorrow - you have earnt it mate!
